Who are the lost, the lonely and hurt?
Who bids them all to come in?
Who speak to them the words that give life,
Words that free them from sin?

What are God’s children doing today?
Have we counted the cost?
How can we sit and worship they way,
With no thought for the lost?

Where will the poor find shelter and warmth?
When will the hungry be fed?
Will we offer to pray for their needs,
Or will we feed them instead?

Why do we fail to answer God’s call?
Why do we fail to obey?
Why is our faith so slow to respond,
When You’ve shown us the way?
